I have been sick for over a week now and didn't feel like working out at all, so you know what?? I didn't and I gotta tell you...it was really starting to get me down! I think that by NOT working out, it made me feel even worse? Maybe it's all just mental!?!

Well, I headed to the gym today and thought I would at least get a half hour or so of exercise in, so here's what I did:
Warm up:
7 Minutes on the Eliptical
Workout:
5 Minutes of Kick Boxing floowed by
5 Burpees (I don't know if that's how you spell it)
5 Push ups
10 Jumping Jacks
I did this rotation 3 times
Then 5 minutes of kick boxing
10 Burpees
10 Push ups
20 Jumping Jacks
Cool Down:
2 sets of Plinks
2 sets of Side Plinks (each side)
Iron Cross
That was enough for me today! I sure hope I can get rid of this miserable cold I have had! It is really starting to cramp my style!

TODAY'S WORKOUT!
What did my workout today include??
Warm Up -
5 mins on the elliptical
Workout - I did the following rotation 4 times
Dead Lift - 95 lbs - 10 times
Decline Sit Ups - 15
Dumbell Rows - 10 lbs - 15 times each side
Overhead Dumbell Lifts - 10 lbs - 15 times each
Cool Down -
3 Miles on the Stationary Bike

After all that...I spent a few minutes trying to wipe all the sweat off me!

The holidays are over and I am finally getting on a regular schedule!
I have still been working out and watching what I eat with a few slip ups here and there, but it's a process ya know!?!
Where have I been the past three months?? Well my other blog Clippin' with Carie keeps me extremely busy, but I have making time each day to workout and am trying to take better care of myself!
Today's weigh in 201.6
Which is a total of 62 pounds lost!
I am going to try and get better at blogging about this journey, since it is so important to me!

So, Here I am again...
Where does all the time go???

Today I weighed in and the scale (so not my BFF) was cooperating a little!
.
I weighed in at 208.4 - That's a total loss of 55.2 pounds since April! I am almost to the half way point...58.4 pounds to go...slow and steady wins the race!!
.
So what am I eating...chicken and lots of it, tuna, turkey and a little bit of beef as well, but I have never been much of a beef eater.
.
Lots and lots of fruits and veggies and for snack time, a few whole natural almonds!
.
I stopped drinking coffee for about 20 days, but I thought I was going to die...I was sooo crabby and tired. Plus I was scared that Starbucks would go out of business if I took anymore time off from there!! I am drinking just one a day now...that's enough to keep me going!
.
I'm still working out like a crazy lady, I thought I had a bump on my upper arm, was a little scared, then realized it was a muscle...LOL!! Never really had one I guess, didn't know what it would be like...LOL!!!

Checking In - What's been going on???
Holy cow it has been a long time since I checked in! I didn't realize how much time had passed til I went to look at the blog and saw my last post was over a month ago!

I have been sooooo busy, especially with my other blog Clippin with Carie. That blog takes a lot of time and energy each day! I'm not complaining...I love every minute of it!
.
I have been going to the gym faithfully and working out like a crazy woman. It's so frustrating because the scale and I just don't seem to be on the same page!
.
TODAY (10/10) I weighed in at 215.2 - which is a total loss of 48.4 pounds, but I have slacked off a bit on my healthy eating and it's amazing to me just how much of a difference that makes. I mean I haven't been totally out of control, but I haven't been as diligent as I should be!
.
So today...I start back on a commitment of NO SUGAR, NO PROCESSED FOODS for at least 20 days to get my brain reprogrammed and remind myself that it's not so bad! Maybe that will bring me out of my plateau!
.
I may be a little crabby the next few days trying to get myself back on program, the hubs is going to need to batten down the hatches...it's gonna get crazy around here! LOL!!
